Jozie Kanode '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jozie Kanode and I am now a SENIOR at Exeter-Milligan High School in Nebraska. I would like to play volleyball in college because I have a huge passion for the sport, and I love being part of a team.   I have been active in sports my whole life, starting with tumbling and gymnastics, summer softball, basketball, track and my favorite being volleyball.  Even at family gatherings I get pretty competitive with a simple game of kick ball.  I am the second child in my family with 4 siblings and am fortunate enough to have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop as a student athlete.  Last summer I took advantage of those opportunities by playing in a volleyball tournament in Hawaii.  Nokaoi Volleyball is a 35 year strong organization and I was honored to have the opportunity to play on a team of Nebraska High schoolers that I have never played with before.  I am different from other recruits in that I am a very serious and competitive athlete with a desire to lift up my teammates when they are struggling.  When the game gets tough I tend to rise to the occasion and have the ability to offer positive energy on the court.  I have a tendency to keep practice and competition fun while also performing at a high level.  Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my profile and consider recruiting me for your program.
