Personal Statement
Ever since I was little, I’ve always had a passion for volleyball. I’ve played at VCNebraska since before I can remember, whether it be going to summer camps or playing club. In my time there, I’ve learned a lot about the importance of having a good work ethic and focusing on the little things. By actively doing small things like running everywhere I go at practice, calling every single ball, and always making sure to shag, I have become increasingly capable of making big things happen on and off the court. It has always been a dream of mine to play collegiate volleyball, and I want to make that dream a reality.
Outside of volleyball, I love getting involved at my school. It is important to me to give back to the community that has done so much for me. The small town of Malcolm, Nebraska, has shown me what it’s like to be part of a family that supports every member. I truly enjoy going to as many games and events at my high school as I can to show my support for my classmates. As President of my class and Team Captain of my club team, I know how to be a leader and set a good example for others.
