Shaylyn Safranek '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shaylyn Safranek and I have always aspired to be the best that I can be for my team. I think that I'm a good candidate for your team because I have great setting hands, and I can be a very aggressive hitter in the front row. My leadership skills are something that really makes me stand out from other people, in many different ways. Leading our team to the Nebraska State Tournament for the first time in 49 years was a great journey for myself and my teammates.  Back row setting and front row hitting allowed me to affect games and outcomes throughout the year, and allowed me to lead in many different ways.  I am a multi-sport athlete playing basketball and club volleyball in the spring for Nebraska Gold, coach by University of Nebraska at Kearney.  Playing for many different coaches has allowed me to learn from a variety of coaches and play with multiple players that have made me better.  I look forward to the future and joining a college team with a family atmosphere that integrity is the basis of everything the team and college is about.
