Jamie Vavra '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I'm Jamie Vavra and I'm very excited to tell you some things about myself. I have been around volleyball basically since the time I was born. I began playing competitively for a club team that came up in my home town when I was in 5th grade. I decided I wanted to get very serious about volleyball and decided to switch clubs my 7th grade year. I began to play for South Central Volleyball Club where my love for the game has only continued to grow. 

I am a very hard worker and take things like my academics, my reputation, and my performance very seriously. I want to be the best in everything that I participate in. I also want to have lots of experiences in all things that I do. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work in the medical field. Right now I am deciding between becoming a physical therapist or a nurse. To help me gain experience I work in an assisted living where I get to work with wonderful people and care for even better people! I bring a positive attitude to everything I do and I think that sets me apart from a lot of people. My attitude will always be positive whether that is with teammates, friends, or with residents. This is because everything that I do, I do with a purpose and a love for what I am doing.
