Hi, my name is Presley Burrows, I am attending Pershing County High School as a junior. I am very excited to play volleyball these upcoming seasons. I live in a small town and have grown up on a farm, where I have learned many valuable skills and responsibilities. I have been playing volleyball since my 6th grade year, and have a tremendous passion for the sport. My primary positions are outside hitter and defensive specialist, although I am happy to play anywhere when needed. I am currently playing on a club team with NNJ in Reno Nevada. Last winter/spring I was playing on the Yerington Nevada Club volleyball team, until the season unfortunately ended due to the world-wide pandemic. I traveled with the Yerington team to Sacramento and San Jose California for huge tournaments. I played on varsity for my high school as freshmen, for volleyball, basketball, and track. As a freshmen I received a state championship for the 400m dash, state runner up for the triple jump, and 3rd for the 200m dash. I also participate in my local 4-H club, where I raise and sell market beef. I am the Vice President of my 4-H club and I was president of my sophomore class. I use my leadership skills to take charge and encourage my teammates on and off the court. I am very competitive and willing to go for every ball. I am coachable and always eager to learn. I am very hardworking and strive to be the best person, player, and teammate that I can be. I am beyond thrilled for this opportunity and future to come. Thank you for reading and I am looking forward to hearing from and contacting coaches.
