Hi! My name is Ellie Huh. Though I only started playing volleyball in late 2016, it's quickly become one of my greatest passions. As I started relatively late, I realized that I'd need to truly dedicate myself to the game if I wanted to be a competitive player. I have always striven to have the best work ethic possible. You may find me in the gym before school practicing at 6:00 AM, and sometimes back at it after school from 4:00 PM to as late as 9:00. I'm always willing to take feedback from coaches and players alike and make the appropriate changes. I not only strive to be a strong individual player, but also to be a supportive teammate who won't let her team down and will put everything on the court. While I am incredibly driven and motivated to become the best volleyball player I can possibly be, I also make sure that I balance athletics with academics. As a straight A student, I constantly push myself to take challenging classes in all subjects, even if they aren't required. I'm extremely interested in both humanity fields and medicine, and in college, hope to be able to continue to pursue both my academic and athletic ambitions.
Note: I attend the Davidson Academy of Nevada. However, due to a lack of sport teams at the Davidson, I play volleyball for Robert McQueen High school. Additionally, I am currently dual-enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno, and have taken many classes there to further my knowledge.
