My name is Leah Lynskey, and I’m part of the Class of 2026 at Oyster River High School. I’ve played two years of club volleyball—first with the 15s National team at Seacoast United VBC and most recently with the 16 Open White team at 603 United VBC, where I was honored to be nominated for the JVA 2024 Girls' Watch List. This upcoming club season, I’ll be playing for 603 United on the 17 Open team.
At Oyster River, I’ve played one year on junior varsity and two on varsity. My 2023 varsity season was cut short by an ankle fracture, but I earned the Most Improved award for my performance before the injury. This past year, I served as a varsity captain and played as an outside hitter. My coaches describe me as mature, level-headed, and deeply passionate about volleyball.
In the upcoming club season, I’ll be playing on the right side. I strive to be versatile so coaches can use me in any role, and I focus on being a calm, reliable presence on the court. I’m always working to improve my skills, both physically and mentally, to continue growing as a player.
