Madeline Dutterer '18 Recruiting Profile

    I began playing volleyball at ten years of age; and since then, my love, commitment, and determination for the sport has grown in unimaginable amounts.  My first priority in planning for my college years is to find a school that suits me academically while providing an opportunity for me to play a sport I love.  I am very coachable and a great teammate on and off the court.  I work hard and go the extra mile to prove myself and my abilities for the team.  I am dedicated with an immense respect for the sport along with the coaches who have instructed me over the last 7 years.  I've always been an athlete since the age of 4 when I was invited to developmental gymnastics, then played field hockey, softball, and basketball as well as club volleyball.  Over the years, I have grown physically stronger and faster, committing myself to training both on and off the court thus allowing me to best exemplify my skills on the court.  Off the court, I am a dedicated student working hard to earn good grades to support my future successes.
