Jenna Knoerzer '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jenna and I am a junior in high school.  I have been playing volleyball since I was in the fourth grade, church league.  I started playing club volleyball when I was 11 years old and have played club ever since.  I played volleyball in high school my freshman year in Missouri and then moved to New Jersey where I played varsity as a sophomore. This year our high school season will be moved to the spring and will begin in February.  I currently play on the top team in my club, which is one of the top select teams in the region.  I am a competitive individual and player who enjoys working hard to win with others.  I seek teams and environments where I'm leveraged, coached to improve and allowed to contribute to our success.  As a player, I'm routinely told I'm coachable and respected as a player and leader.   I have a strong work ethic, I'm committed to success and I enjoy having fun with my team.  

I balance my school and select volleyball with a part-time job and participation in other activities (e.g., rodeos, competitive waterskiing and outdoor activities).    

College Goals and Aspirations - To learn and achieve a strong education and play volleyball.  Similar to my older sister, use my participation in college volleyball to expand my college experience.  Ultimately, use collage to accelerate personal and professional opportunities after high school.   

From my recent select team coach -  "Jenna would always show up with a positive attitude, ready to work hard. She often lead by example during drills and gameplay. Giving it her all to inspire her teammates to do the same was absolutely one of the traits I loved the most. Aside from her personal drive, she demanded of me to bring all my knowledge and passion to her training. Rarely do you find a kid so respectful, motivated, and fun loving. Her skill and leadership qualities on the court are a testament to her growth as a young lady. I could thank her parents everyday for making my job so easy."
