Personal Statement

My name is Lacey Trautwein. I play MB for Ocean County Volleyball Club and Jackson Memorial High School where I am a Sophomore. I'm a 4 rotation player who has led both teams in blocks this past season. In addition to MB, I can also play opposite. I am interested in medium to large colleges located in rural and suburban settings that offer diverse and versatile degrees which will allow me to pursue a variety of possibilities. I’m putting extra focus on developing my athleticism, my blocking footwork, my ability to read hitters and getting to the block early. In closing, I am thrilled at the possibility of learning more about your team/school, and I appreciate your consideration. Thank you.

Her knowledge of the game and work ethic stand out. Her awareness of the field and technical skills help her create opportunities for teammates. As a 2025 grad, she still has time to develop physically and has the potential to become an elite player. She has a bright volleyball career ahead of her, quickly moving into position with correct footwork and arm mechanics after an opponent makes contact with the ball, core and leg strength is a major difference-maker in the college game, amajor focus in your range of motion and your coordination.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
