Amelia Jones '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amelia Jones. I am 16 years old, I have been playing volleyball on a club team since 7th grade, and I live in Marlton, NJ. I have been on Marlton Volleyball Club for 4 years, and I have been playing with the age group above me as a setter, libero, and defensive specialist. I prefer to be playing as a DS or libero, but if a setter is needed, I am trained for that as well. I played as Cherokee High School’s JV libero for my freshman year, and a DS on varsity my sophomore year. I had 81 digs by the end of the season, and my goal for junior year is to get over 120 digs. At Cherokee, I have a 3.77 cumulative unweighted gpa, and a 5.5 cumulative weighted gpa. Aside from volleyball, I have been a competitive dancer since I was 7 years old. I was on the Jazz Unlimited Ensemble for 6 years, and moved to the ZZ Dance competition team 3 years ago. I am a competitive player, but I have learned to take criticism very well and have good sportsmanship in everything I do. Along with that, I am also involved in the spring school plays, DECA, CKF (Cancer Kids First), and National Dance Honors Society. I spread myself thin, but I always try to put 100% into everything I do. I believe that makes me a strong competitor to be able to do everything I set my mind to instead of committing
