Reese Nelson '28 Recruiting Profile

• I’m Reese Nelson, a full rotation outside hitter in the class of 2028. While I am a multi-sport athlete, indoor and beach volleyball is my true passion. My athletic roots run deep in my family: my father earned a full football scholarship at Penn State for football and later transferred and played at Fordham. My grandfather played college basketball at Hofstra, was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers, and pitched in the NY Yankees farm system. 

Volleyball brings me the greatest joy in life. Nothing compares to the feeling of being on the court. What sets me apart is my athleticism and my non-stop hustle. I give everything I’ve got on the court and will never give up on a ball.
