Hi my name is Megan Farrell, I am a rising junior in high school and class of 2023 and a starter on my club and school team when I was a sophomore. I started playing volleyball when I was in 7th grade after doing gymnastics for 9 years before that. As an 8th grader in middle school I was on the jv team for the high school as well as a starter. I have been doing club volleyball since 8th grade and I those years my teams have done really well in tournaments. In school I have always excelled in math and when I get to college I want to major in statistics or at least amor very close to that. I grew up in small town with a very small school so I have always dreamed about going to a huge college. After college I hope to get my masters and possibly my bachelors. The job that I have always dreamed about was to be a statistician and possibly work for the port authority. On my jv team I was team captain and I loved that role, I was happy that I could help my players be the best that they could be on and off the court. When I was doing gymnastics I had to learn self decline and many other skills to grow as a person and as an athlete. Those skills have helped me become a better volleyball player mentally and physically.
