2021 Highlights
Sophomore Year Hi...I have been interested in playing collegiate volleyball since I was a young girl. I am a junior at DeRuyter Central School. I play volleyball for DeRuyter, which is a small Class D School in Upstate New York, and for Crown City Volleyball Club located in the IREVA Region in New York.
I have played varsity volleyball at DeRuyter since my freshman year. The year before my freshman year the DeRuyter varsity volleyball team had a record of 1-12. My first season on varsity resulted in an 11-5 record, League Championship and an appearance in Section III Finals. My second varsity volleyball season ended with a 12-3 record, League Championship and an appearance in Section III Semi-Finals. I played middle blocker my freshman season and outside hitter and defense in my sophomore season. I was honored to be selected as a League All Star in both my freshman and sophomore years. I was also presented with an All Tournament Team Award following our League Tournament Championship in my sophomore year.
I really enjoy the challenge of the competitive play with Crown City Volleyball Club. I have played middle blocker, outside hitter, right side hitter, defense, and setter for Crown City Volleyball Club. I’m a versatile player so I tend to get shifted where I am needed.
I am excited about the future and look forward to learning more about collegiate volleyball as well as everything college has to offer.
