I first started playing volleyball in 8th grade. In 10th grade, I was chosen to be on the varsity team. At this point, I began to play volleyball on much higher and tougher level. But in 11th grade, that was when I was at my peak. Ever since then, the games were much more competitive and I loved it. That's when I realized I wanted to play at the collegiate level. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I would love to experience.
I have a strong awareness when I am on the court. I have a strong, hard serve. I am able to hit hard as well as pass. I am also a team leader. My team looks up to me because I have grown tremendously and I try to lead by example while still supporting and helping my teammates. I try to be a hard-working player to show not only my coach, but to prove to myself that I am capable.
At school, I study hard to maintain my high GPA. I am a member of my school's National Honors Society. I am a manager for my school's boy's volleyball team. I want to go to college where I can continue to push myself both academically and physically. I hope to find the college that will be the right match for me at the highest level for me to play volleyball.
