Ava Coombs '21 Recruiting Profile

I was born in England and immigrated to the US with my family when I was young. It was here where I was first introduced to volleyball in 5th Grade and, almost immediately, realized I had found my passion. Since then, I have continued to grow my love for the sport through School and Club teams. I have learned to play all hitting positions throughout the years as my coaches rotate me between Outside, Middle and Right Side.  My coaches often describe me as extremely versatile and highly coachable, playing each position with confidence and willingness to adapt to different situations. 

Outside of volleyball, I am a 3.5 GPA student and a member of the National Art Honors Society and the Aspiring Young Doctors and Veterinary Association at my school.
