Lakayla Cook '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to receive my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing to become an ER nurse. I plan to pursue my passion of volleyball with an athletic scholarship. I am very ambitous in playing and have earned  "player of the match" on both my Jv and varsity teams,best defensive player award, and a all conference award. Discipline and sacrifice helps me stand out above the rest thanks to my passion for the game. Volleyball is a lifestyle for me at home and at school. Every opportunity to improve at school and home is a motivation. I help mentor others on my team and create an atmosphere of hope with my team. Having a solid education is an avenue for me to play college volleyball. I strive to have the highest grades and to be the best player possible.  I shine on the court by being the loudest and the encouraging player whether we're losing or winning. I think having a positive attitude no matter the situation is an important attribute to a team.
