My name is Molly and I am currently playing in my fifth year of club volleyball, playing in a higher age group this year, and have my second season of high school volleyball under my belt. I have learned so much from playing volleyball including what it means to be a leader, how to lift others up, and have gained a sense of how to maintain balance between academics and athletics. I have also learned how to be a strong role model for my two younger sisters through the sense of responsibility and companionship I have experienced by being on a team.
I plan to graduate high school maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and I have succeeded so far. I am also planning to major in marine biology. On a recent trip to Florida, my mom and I sought out a beach where we could see a mother sea turtle laying her eggs. We listened to a presentation on the endangerment of the species which sparked my interest in studying and protecting sea life.
In addition to studying marine biology, I am excited to pursue the opportunity to play college volleyball.
