My name is Makenna Crawford. I am a senior at Beavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio. I will graduate in 2025. I am a dedicated athlete and I have been playing both school and club volleyball since I was 11 years old. Volleyball has been my passion and my one true love throughout my elementary, middle and high school life. I am hard working, competitive, versatile and always willing to learn. My goal is to continue to play volleyball at the collegiate level.
I currently play for the Air City Chix National Club Team (17-Pink). My coach is Alan Ronnebaum. I played on Beavercreek school teams starting in 7th grade. I was the only sophomore to make Beavercreek's Varsity team in 2022. I was the junior captain of the varsity team in 2023. I am the current 2024 varsity captain for my high school women's volleyball team. The women's varsity coach is Carol Bysak.
I have played every position in volleyball over the years. I am currently the starting setter and right side hitter for my national club team (this is my fifth season with the Air City Chix), and I am an all around player. I was also the starting setter and right side hitter for my high school varsity team this past season and for this current 2024 season.
My classes in high school are a combination of honors and scholarship classes with an overall unweighted GPA of 3.5 and weighted GPA of 3.9. I recently took the ACT on February 27, 2024 with results pending. As a student athlete, I am committed to maintaining high academic standards while contributing my best to the volleyball team.
My areas of interest include forensic science, criminology, and psychology.
Thank you for considering me for your volleyball program. If you would like any additional information, please feel free to contact me via my email [email protected] or my cell phone 937-306-3820.
