Personal Statement

My name is Lauren Gribben. I am a sophomore at Jefferson County Christian School in Wintersville, Ohio. I have been on my school varsity team since 8th grade and have played club volleyball since 7th grade. I love volleyball and working with my teams! I am also a junior black belt in Taekwondo. I have attended our local dojo for over six years and am working towards my full black belt. I want to continue with my training after high school. I plan to pursue a degree in political science with a minor in French to travel, teach, and coach when I finish college.

Strength and Conditioning Training

Lauren trains with a strength coach twice weekly when volleyball is not in session. Her coach is a combat marine who was injured in Afghanistan and now uses personal training as his therapy. He works on mental toughness as well as strength and conditioning.
