Samantha Ison '22 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Samantha Ison and I am in an outside hitter/middle for Licking Heights High School graduating in 2022.  I have played school volleyball for 7 years and club volleyball for 4 years.  I love the team aspect of volleyball and I focus on being the best player I can be to help my team be successful.  I cherish anytime I get to be in a gym playing volleyball and I strive to learn and grow with each practice or game.  In 2018 on the freshman Licking Heights High School volleyball team, I was voted offensive player of the year.  

I am still deciding on my future academic focus; however, I am drawn towards the social sciences and more specifically psychology.  I am enrolled in honors classes and my fall 2018 GPA was 3.53.  I plan on taking AP courses for the remaining high school years.  I love to compete and be academically challenged, and I am looking to attend a college that offers an opportunity to do both at a high level.
