From the first time I played volleyball I instantly fell in love with it, and as time went on I knew I wanted to play collegiately. There has been many influencers in my volleyball career that have made me into the player I am today, such as coaches, specific games, difficult seasons and games that have challenged my mental toughness. Volleyball pushes me to be better, not only in volleyball but as a person, and that is why I love the sport. I do not only have a good skill set, I am a great leader and communicator on the court. I make a promise to myself before every dame that no matter the situation I will always stay positive and play each point like it is the last. I have found my balance with athletics and academics, and I know my limits to when my assignments need to be started and finished. Along with that, I understand that I need to invest a lot of time into volleyball each week. I am currently on the honor role, and will continue to keep my grades up to support my athletic future. I hope to graduate in the top 15 in my class with a 4.0. I then plan to graduate college and become a sports medicine physician. I truly have fallen in love with volleyball and I want to play as long as I possibly can, and I can take on the responsibly and honor of my dream of playing college volleyball.
