Hi my name is Avery Nicholson and I and this past year we moved from Texas to Ohio. This was a huge move for me with the start of my junior year coming but it has been great for me & my family. My Dad is now the Head Softball Coach at the University of Akron and I attend Wadsworth High School in our new home town of Wadsworth Ohio. Handling change and adversity is something I believe is a strength of mine. Being a coach's daughter and moving around several times in my life has taught me to adapt, make new friends, be outgoing and deal with all types of new situations. I feel I have good leadership skills, bring a positive energy to any situation and I have lots of room to grow and learn! I am a very hard worker and I want to have the opportunity to become the very best volleyball player I can be while being a hardworking and supportive teammate. I have always been successful in academics and wish to go to school to study nursing. Throughout my life I have played many sports but none had ever really stuck until I started playing volleyball. I enjoy the sport with a passion and I bring that to the court every time I step on it!! I am excited for what the future holds both athletically and academically. To play volleyball at the next level is a dream of mine! I look forward to seeing you in the future and working hard both on the court and in the classroom!
Sincerely,
Avery #8
