I Play for my feed high school, 6A Westview High but, academics are at ISB (International School of Beaverton). For club volleyball, I am involved in the Athena Volleyball club. I am studying Mandarin, took Advanced science research, and going to an IB diploma school. The school involves preparation for college courses by being fully IB. By applying MLA criteria, ISB pushes students, again, to prepare for future classes in college and later on in life. Outside of school and sports, I am participating in the National Charity League, National Chinese Honors Society, and National Art Honors Society, continuing to pursue my understanding of my classes.
On the other hand, for volleyball, I work hard for my team, love playing the game and want to continue playing as long as I can. Including the fact of possibly pursuing volleyball as a coach at some point in time. I continue to change positions on the court, but I try to enjoy and better every moment I have on the court. I play almost every position and am willing to fill a role if needed in a tight situation, without saying that I cannot play that position. Often times I will also pay attention to what everyone else is doing even on, off, and during practices. At times I will do extra research and I love to ask questions to better both my sense of the game and my physical level. I very much enjoy the programs and use the suggestions of other coaches into what I am doing. As well, I love to cheer on my teammates no matter the circumstance. Moreover, I strive to become a better player by giving my all in anything including participating in extra clinics to improve my sense of the game and technique.
