2021 HighlightsI started playing volleyball when I was 10 for local community kid's teams, but have been playing club for 6 years now. I'm currently a starting middle blocker for both my club and high school volleyball teams. I played on my high school's varsity team as a freshman and am a valuable team member. Although I don't get to play in the back row very much I do enjoy passing and working on my defense. I currently have a 3.88 GPA and was enrolled in an AP world history class my sophomore year, and I'm currently enrolled in AP Spanish. I'm also a peer tutor in a life skills program my school offers. Working with the kids in the program has been one of the most fulfilling things I've done. This program has had the most positive impact on who I am as a person. This past summer I've also had the privilege of working at a paid summer internship at a local child's daycare center. I was an intern at the Oak Street Child Development Center for two weeks in August, I worked with kids ages 2-4. Currently, I'm a head coach for a local community team sports program called Kidsports. I'm Coaching the 7th and 8th-grade girls volleyball team, so far this experience has allowed me to gain more knowledge on this great sport and it has been so fun to share my passion with the younger generation.
