Alyssa Vaughn '18 Recruiting Profile

    When I was a little girl I played basketball, but after my first time playing volleyball I was hooked. I’ve played volleyball since I was in 6th grade and my love for the game has only grown. I play both indoor and sand volleyball. Just the past summer me and doubles partner placed 1st in the 16’s B division at the Seaside Sand Tournament, which is the worlds largest ameteur beach tournament in the world. Volleyball is truly my passion and having the opportunity to play at the college level would be a dream come true.

    On the court I have played every position besides middle front, but I found a love for outside hitting and liberoing. I play all six rotations which allows me to play both front and back row. This makes me a very versatile player that is exceptional in not just one but all positions on the court.

    Sports have opened up so many opportunities for me so playing volleyball for my dream college and pursuing a career in the medical field would be a cherry on top. I can’t wait for this next chapter in my life and I hope to be in contact with you soon!
