I’ve been playing volleyball for as long as I can remember. I was introduced to the sport by my two older sisters and started out sitting on their bench taking stats. When I was old enough I moved to playing club volleyball and as of this year I’m on my 8th season, I started out as a setter and for the past 3 club seasons I’ve been a middle blocker. The last two years of high school I’ve worked my way up to a starting middle blocker on varsity, and the 2018 season I was an all league honorable mention in PIL. One of my sisters went on to play in D1 volleyball in college, and ever since playing in college has been a goal of mine. Because volleyball has been such an important part of my life I want to continue playing for as long as I can. I want to use college as a time of growth, challenging academically and physically.
