Abigail Hawk '13 Recruiting Profile

I would like to play volleyball in college.  Our Parkland High School team won the 2011 Pennsylvania 3A State Championship.  We did have a strong team again this year. I was a starting D.S. and helped the team get to the PA State 3A finals again, though this year we were runner-up.  I am happy with my serves. I served 3 aces in the state final.  

I have been playing volleyball for going on 6 years and have been on Synergy and Crosscourt Club teams for the past 5 years.  The Synergy Club Team that I was on last year did earn a bid to Nationals.  I hope to be seen and someday noticed by college recruiters. I don't know exactly what I would like to major in yet at college.  I would like to work in a field that helps animals; either with preventing the extinction of species or protecting some that are in danger.  I also have a strong interest in English literature, Psychology and enjoy writing.  I have taken Honors English courses and have always done well in Reading and English subjects.
