The second I picked up a volleyball, I fell in love with the sport. The split-second rush of adrenaline you feel when you get a great dig or an awesome kill. Everything about it makes me excited that I get to play! The mental aspect of volleyball has helped me a lot in other parts of my life as well, such as academics. It's given me the mental discipline to help me accomplish things even when I don't necessarily want to do them. One of my favorite things about this sport is the friendships made through it. There's nothing cooler than watching your teammate make an amazing play and being able to cheer them on. The togetherness that I feel when I play with my team makes it a lot more fun because I know they have my back, and I think that has helped me grow as a player and a teammate. I love to laugh and joke around so I would say I bring a pretty positive vibe to games and practices, and I'm also very encouraging. Playing at a collegiate level would be a dream because I think it would challenge me in ways I've never been before!
