Maya McIlwain '25 Recruiting Profile

I have loved volleyball since i have watched my sister play, i knew i would love the sport. Since playing in 6th grade i have grown the love the sport and the competitiveness that it gives me. I want to be the best not only for my team but for my coach. I love when i get told what i am doing wrong. I love figuring out the game and doing new things. Since my freshman season i have known i wanted to play college volleyball. I am very loud and love talking on the court and giving my teammates compliments. I will do anything to make myself better for my team or to work better together. I love this game and it is my dream to play at college level.
