The A5 Southern Volleyball Showcase

The A5 Southern Volleyball Showcase provides an opportunity for athletes graduating in 2022-2026 to showcase their volleyball skills for college coaches from throughout the country by participating in a variety of passing, serving, hitting, setting and digging drills as well as competitive situations. We plan to have many college coaches in attendance and will also be streaming this showcase live for coaches to watch the day of. We will also be sending collected video to college coaches across the nation.

Each session will be led directly by 2017 South Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year, Todd Hay, and campers will receive top quality instruction from the AU coaching staff, along with former and current Trojan players. The camp staff will work with all campers to teach basic fundamentals of volleyball, as well as specific position skills. All skills and concepts will be taught as they are taught to AU volleyball players and each day will include position specific instruction as well as team competition.

This specialty clinic is designed to provide specific instruction for the athlete’s on libero/DS position. We will first assess the athlete’s current level of development in their libero/DS position category and provide specific feedback to help them refine and advance their skills. This will take place first and then we will bring all the positional groups together for competitive play for a chance to put into practice what they worked on.
