Ryleigh Roberts '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryleigh Roberts, class of 2025. I am currently a Sophomore at Lugoff-Elgin High School and play on LMVC 16 Elite team for the 2022-2023 season. I am a setter for both school and club ball, but have experience with all positions on the court. 

I began my volleyball journey when I was 8 yrs. old on the Kershaw County Junior volleyball team and have continued to grow and love the sport. I played on the 12 power team at age 9 as a libero. The year after that my coach introduced me into setting. Every year after I have been a setter. I moved to LMVC at age 13.  I have played a total of 7 years and within these years of playing I have received many accolades including 3 Palmetto All-Region awards, 1 Offensive MVP Award- Lugoff Middle School, and 2 SCHSL All-Region award my freshman and sophomore year at Lugoff-Elgin High School. 

Although athletics is important, maintaining good grades and a high GPA is more important. I plan to major in the medical field. 

I’m very interested in playing at the next level! I’m a focused, hard-working, and coachable player.
