Emma Vandaele '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma VanDaele and I will be a Class of 2022 graduate at Pickens High School in Pickens, SC.   I currently play Libero for my National travel team but I have played OH and RH in the last three previous seasons.   During my last two seasons playing Varsity at Pickens, we have placed 2nd in 4A State with our only losses occurring in State Championship game.  My senior season was went undefeated and never dropped a set to a AAAA South Carolina team all year - we beat Aiken High School to win 25-13, 25-17, 25-11 to win the 2022 AAAA South Carolina High School Champions!  For the three years, our team never gave up on our goals and in November 2021, we accomplished our goal to become AAAA State Champions.

My personal goal since 7th grade has been to play volleyball at the collegiate level.   I hope to find a team that I can call my next "family".  I know that the commitment to becoming a college volleyball player is significant - I also know that my time will be spent on the court, in the weight room, and the film room with my teammates.  That is why I know how important it is to find a coach and fellow teammates that share in my motivation to work hard, play smart, and fully commit to becoming a better player.
