Isabella Mitchell '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to receive a degree in Mathematics for Secondary Education.  While leading VBS in 8th grade, I found my love of children and teaching them new things.  

As you can see from my profile, I am a leader and very hard worker.  I am a very vocal player on the court.  I am one of the the first on the court and one of the last to leave.  I am always looking for areas of improvement and feedback from my coaches.  I have been a part of the SCISA 2A State Championship team now for 3 years and it has been the most amazing experience, allowing me to grow on and off the court.  I was player of the match and I have been invited to be a part of America's team two years in a row to represent America in Spain and Dominican Republic.  

Another example of my hard work is in the classroom.  My GPA is a 4.3 and I take honors and AP classes.  I have received many academic awards including the highest Spanish average, academy honor roll and principal's honor roll.  I was also homecoming representative.  I enjoy serving and encouraging others and think this is the most important trait of a leader.  I have a passion for God, family, school and volleyball. I do not waiver in my convictions and faith.  I set goals and work hard to achieve them.  

As a Christian, I take representation seriously and would be honored to represent a great university program as an athlete and a student. I look forward to talking to you and telling you more about myself and hearing about your college program!
