Hi, my name is Keondra Jones and i am currently a student at Airport High School in West Columbia, SC. While many athletes may list their stats and outstanding records that makes them stand out, I believe that one person cannot make their stats alone. It takes a defensive specialist to pass to the setter, it takes a setter to set to a hitter, and it takes a hitter to get a kill. I believe it's a team effort. Having me on your team will be more then just someone who believes in the team, but also having a leader who's willing to go the extra mile for their teammates.
Besides leadership skills, i also believe that I'm a great candidate that can also take the responsibility of volleyball and school head on. While playing at Airport, I have played as both a middle and outside hitter. I am 5'10 and 160 lbs. While completing my junior year, I have a cumulative GPA of 3.69 and an ACT score of 22 which could help me receive an academic scholarship. My academic achievements include being a Myridis Walker Scholar and a member of the Beta Club. I also participate in FCA, student government, and HOSA. I have taken several Honors level courses as well.
