My name is Norah, and I’m a freshman at Rapid City Stevens High School. I‘ve been playing volleyball for four years, primarily as a setter and libero. I‘m also a multi-sport athlete, competing in both softball and track. I strive to be a valued teammate, just as I value others on and off the court. One of my strongest qualities is my positive attitude, no matter the score or intensity of the game. I’m able to stay calm in high-pressure situations, helping both myself and my team refocus on the fundamentals to achieve our goals. I have a true passion for volleyball, especially the sense of connection and teamwork it fosters. As a freshman, I made the junior varsity team and currently start as their setter. I’m versatile, playing all around - hitting, digging, passing, and setting, while always prioritizing team dynamics. I’ve also been invited to sit with the Varsity team, as I practice alongside them every day. My love for volleyball drives me to set high standards for myself, and I’m excited to see where this sport will take me after high school.
