Paige Champlin '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paige Champlin and I am a 5’3” 135lb defensive specialist volleyball player. I aspire to continue my volleyball career into the collegiate level. I strive to play in Division 1 or 2 in college. I was Libero for my freshman volleyball season of highschool and I led my team to many wins and ended up tying for 1st in district.  During the following summer I spent my hours training and playing sand volleyball to strengthen the areas I needed to work on. I attended multiple defensive and passing camps. As well as daily summer agility and weight lifting programs at my school. The following season I was the Junior Varsity Libero, leading us into a first place district win. Immediately after school season, I began my club season with Austin Velocity Volleyball. I was able to play all the way around when needed, but was mainly a defensive specialist for majority of the season. We finished 1st and 2nd in most of our tournaments. We ended our season in 5th in the gold bracket of a Colorado regional tournament.
