My name is Clarissa Olivares and I'm a hardworking volleyball player. I'm dedicated to this sport and look forward to playing at the next level. My most important accomplishments were getting setter of the year. I have been on the varsity volleyball team at my high school since my sophomore year.
Knowing that I will be playing volleyball in college makes me passionate about this sport. When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, there are many options. I am open to any opportunity as long as it's a great match for myself and the college that is looking for my set of skills. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. My top two choices for a major as of right now are either Sports Management or Business.
My athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example to those after me. I've learned the importance of leadership, not only on the court, but also off the court. It is important to support teammates even when it isn't during a game or practice. Volleyball to me feels like another home, practicing with the same or different teammates all the time, and making long lasting memories to look back on.
