Thank you for visiting my page. Like many others, my goal is to play volleyball in college. I hope that when you get to know me you will see that I am a team player. I am encouraging, positive, energetic, disciplined and a leader. I was chosen by my club team peers for two years to receive the "Heart of the Lion" award, which represents a player whose vision and leadership is honored by all. I am able to take criticism and learn from it and move forward. I've served as Captain of my team many years. I play with heart and am not afraid to slam myself around the court and take a beating to help make a play. I love volleyball so much and never get tired of playing.
I put my heart into school as well. I have a 4.2 grade point average and have been able to do that while taking honors classes and being a student athlete. I attended a private Christian school for 12 years, but moved to Hebron High School my Junior year where I play on the Varsity Volleyball team. I moved because I wanted to play for a large 5A team. It was a great move and I helped contribute to a successful season for the Hebron Hawks.
I've been playing volleyball since I was 12 years old and have primarily been a setter. However, I am strong as a right side hitter and I have very good defense skills as well.
I hope you will come watch me play. I am open to attending a public University or a private University. I am from Texas and would prefer to attend college in state, but am open to looking out of state if the school is a good fit.
