Beating my high school rival for the first time in 8 years and now going to the playoffs was the highlight of my sophomore high school career. Being on this team has taught me a lot about hardworking, humbleness, and committing to your team. Being a student-athlete for most of my volleyball career has also taught me a lot about being flexible and staying focus on important goals. It has also taught me how to time mange between finishing my school work and having enough training time to stay on top of my ball touching reps. I’m looking for a program that fits me both athletically and academically. I believe that not only do you need leadership to be on a college team but also dedication, being coachable and a good work ethic. Being able to have played this sport for 5 years going 6, I know what it takes to be a team player.
