Personal Statement
Since returning to the United States two years ago I have gone from the third tier team at my club to the top tier team. I have and will continue to work hard to reach my full potential.
Athletically I know how to work hard. I am a two sport varsity athlete in volleyball and basketball. This is my second season of club volleyball and I played one season of club basketball before realising that volleyball was my passion.
Academically I have straight A’s and am currently taking five AP classes. I know how to work hard in the classroom and will continue that at university.
My ultimate goal is to have a career that allows me to work internationally through a foreign relations or political science degree. My time spent overseas exposed me to the many different cultures of the world and I would love to be able to experience that again.
