I want to be in a competitive volleyball environment where I can learn and bring my skills to support the team. I want to balance the athletics with a good academic atmosphere. I work hard in practice and continually provide a high level of effort. I am supportive of my team members and want them to excel as well. It was great to play for a State Championship (Texas 5A) and a National Championship (AAU 16s Club Division) in the same year. Following that up with a Texas 5A Championship in 2015 was a thrill! I am from a small town but have traveled quite a bit and enjoy learning about new places. I try to balance my athletic life with other activities such as 4-H and have been successful. Athletics is important to me because it gives me a sense of accomplishment regardless of whether the team wins the game or not. I realize the importance of an education and education will remain as a focus for me in college. I will be attending the University of Alabama in 2017 and look forward to the challenge!!
