My name is Tanner Hanson, and I am starting my seventh season of club volleyball. During the past 6 years, I have led various offense systems including 6-2, 5-1 and 5-2 as needed to help my Teams. In my second club season as a 12U volleyball player, I led my team to the Junior National Championship where we took second place. I hope to continue with my upcoming and future club seasons competing in the Open Division, and strive to lead my team to a Open National Championship victory. During Summer 2018, I was one of ten setters in the nation selected for the 2018 USA Girls' Select A1 National Program. I had the privilege of playing with and against top girls from around the world in the USAV Championship International Tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I met many coaches and players from all over the world who positively impacted me as a player and person. In my 2018 school season, I played as the starting setter on Junior Varsity where we placed second in the district. I am competitive in almost all aspects of my life, striving to be the best and most successful version of myself possible. I take my school work seriously and always strive to be the best in all course material. My academic goal is to explore a science major that will position me well to pursue a career in psychology. My goal is to attend a Division 1 or 2 college and compete at the highest level possible. I will strive to be a strategic asset in the setter position, defensively & offensively. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the court.
