Julia Garza '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! My name is Julia Garza, and I am an outside hitter for Texas Image Volleyball. I hope to potentially play volleyball for as long as I can because I am just in love with the sport and it has taught me many life lessons such as speaking up for myself, keeping my head up, working hard, and to not care about what people think of me and I love competing because the adrenaline while playing  just makes me crazy happy. I’m a great player on the court and on the sidelines as well. I love cheering for my teammates, and to be honest I am pretty obnoxious on the side lines as well haha. I think I’m a unique player because I want to work to be the best I can athletically and especially academically, as well as being a student and player that people can trust and count on. I aspire to reach my full potential in school and on the court.
