jordan terrell '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jordan Terrell, a 2019 graduate from Grapevine High School in Texas. I finished high school with a 3.9 out of 4.0 GPA and an ACT composite score of 28. I am a Libero/DS, I played for 3 years at Grapevine and my freshman year at Southlake Carroll High. I am currently a coach at No Limits volleyball club, while attending my first year at The University of Texas at Arlington majoring in B.A. in Physical Education with an anticipated GPA of 3.3. 

After playing sports my whole life, my senior year I had my mind set on not playing collegially . The summer after my senior year I obtained a club coaching position at No Limits volleyball club, where I am currently coaching and training right now. Seeing that my future goal is to become a Varsity volleyball coach at a high school, I came to conclude that I was not ready to stop playing the sport that has positively impacted my life for the past 8 years. I have been training every week on top of coaching to continue improving my skills. I played club volleyball for 6 years, ending on Drive Nation 18’s top team my 17’s year. I finished my senior year with being awarded defensive player of the year, district ace leader, 2nd team all-district, and being district champs. I am a very competitive, very coachable, team player with a voice on the court. I believe that I can achieve whatever I set my mind to remembering that there is always someone working for the same goal as you. Using that as motivation, I make sure I work 10x harder knowing that I can constantly keep improving my skills and leadership.
