Jada Clarke '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jada Clarke and I am graduating in the class of 2021 at Jersey Village High School in Houston, Texas. 

I have competed in several sports including baseball, basketball and track & field prior to finding volleyball.  I started playing in junior high, found my passion and have focused on improving my game since.  I currently play the libero/defensive specialist position and earned a varsity position as a Sophomore.  I began playing volleyball later than most, but I am a dedicated athlete, competitor and a quick learner.  I am fortunate to have fantastic coaches who believed in me on day one and they continue to support, train and guide me on my journey to play at the college level. I have had setbacks along the way, but through those experiences gained an honest appreciation for opportunity and how quickly it can pass you by.  If anything, those setbacks have made me more determined to achieve my goals...and I am determined. 

I scored a composite 21 on the ACT made available through Jersey Village High School.  I was scheduled to take the SAT in May 2020; however, testing will be rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and I intend to improve my score later this year.
