Marichael Clarin-Jante '18 Recruiting Profile

As a student-athlete, I have goals and aspirations to play collegiate volleyball at a prestigious school and earn my masters in Speech Pathology. I have dreams to become a Pediatric Speech Pathologist. I believe that working with young children with disorders is truly humbling and eye-opening.  Academics and volleyball have always been a big part of my life, so being able to play volleyball and go to school at the same time is my dream. 

Ever since I started playing volleyball 8 years ago, it was a passion of mine. As a volleyball player, I am always 100% committed to my team. I love challenging and pushing myself in order to be a reliable teammate. I am super grateful to be given the opportunity to play the sport I love, so any time I am on the court I am willing to exert all my energy and effort to better myself and the team.  I go into the gym with a focused mindset and a determined will. Practice makes permanent and I believe I have what it takes to play on a college level team one day!
