Amy Schmitt '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amy Schmitt I will graduate from Loop High School in the Spring of 2021. One of my life- long dreams has been to play college volleyball. I have been given many awards for volleyball. I am a hard working athlete, I do what I feel needs to be done whether on the court or in training.   My freshman year, I was voted most outstanding player as we were only a JV volleyball program that year. This award was given to me by my coach, Karen Trent. My sophomore year I was voted All District 2^nd team. I completed my junior year and was named the Defensive District MVP for District 3-2A. I played middle blocker and led my team in blocks and kills. I also have back-row experience and led my team in passing percentage and digs. My junior year, we were the first team ever in Loop to advance to the playoffs for volleyball.  I have advanced to regional in UIL and to state in FBLA, but my greatest strength is in athletics.
