Lauren Safrit '23 Recruiting Profile

Hey, my name is Lauren Safrit! I play on the Midlothian High School Varsity volleyball team and have recently joined TAV 17 Blue for my 21-22 club season. In the past I played for Drive Nation 14 and 15 Black as the #1 libero even though I was tall. Over quarantine, I decided to make the transition to a pin hitter. I trained 7 hours, 5 days a week to achieve my goal. It wasn't easy, but I had amazing coaches to help me and give me tips. After all of the hard work, I went into my high school tryouts very confident and excited to show them how much I have improved. By the end of tryouts, I found out that I would going to be the starting right side for the MHS Varsity Volleyball team.  Ever since then, I have been determined to work my hardest and to make sure that I never doubt myself because anything is possible!
