Taryn Garza '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8 all around player, focusing my efforts on setting. I have started on the Plainview High School Varsity Volleyball team for two years. I earned 2nd Team All-District honors both years, along with Academic All-State my junior year. I was team captain throughout the season the same year. I helped my team in both consecutive seasons to make it to the playoffs. Our shortcomings at playoffs has really fueled my fire to help take my team to the next level in the upcoming season. I plan on my senior year being a step to my next level of education where I find a school that challenges me in both the classroom and on the court. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation that will allow me the opportunity to continue my passions in life.
